ENTRY TO JUNIOR STAFF GEOLOGIST/ENGINEER.

MISSION Geoscience, Inc. of Irvine, CA is a small high-end consulting firm providing expertise in all areas of the environmental and geotechnical sciences. MISSION is frequently called upon to provide forensic geotechnical investigations and expert testimony in support of litigation.

Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Geology or Civil/Environmental Engineering; M.S. preferred. 0-3 years experience in industrial property remediation, water resources development, hydrogeology, geotechnical and/or environmental projects. Intermediate knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and Power point; GIS is a plus. OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER a plus. Good verbal and written communication a must.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will assist in various diverse projects involved in the investigation and remediation of contaminated soil, groundwater and other media. The person we are looking for will assist in data collection and management.
